Freres Lumber manufacturing operations include small diameter and large diameter veneer plants, a veneer drying facility, a small stud mill, a plywood plant, a Mass Plywood Panel plant, and a cogeneration facility.
Freres Timber owns and operates over 17,000 acres of timberland, primarily located in the Santiam Canyon. Harvesting is performed on a sustained yield basis, and is managed to provide high quality timber for current and future generations.
Veneer Plants – The Company’s veneer manufacturing facilities produce a wide range of veneer products for veneer customers throughout the Northwest. Please see the Products page for a list of veneer products available.
Cogeneration – The Company manages a biomass cogeneration facility called Evergreen BioPower LLC., which sells electricity generated to the local electrical utility.
